Nkhotakota Game Reserve

On the way from Kasungu to Nkhotakota Bay the road was passing through Nkhotakota Game Reserve. The only animals that we saw were Yellow Baboons becasue it wa high noon - time when most animals are hidden.

Yellow baboons were everywhere hoping to get some food

This Baboon was happy with the banana that we threw through out

Vwaza - Trees

"Artistic" tree
I have no idea what are these hanging things ...
... although they look like sausages

Another 'sculpture' tree
Sometime I do not know if those parts are roots or stems

Colin is under the tree to give you an idea how big trees can be here

"Double umbrella" tree

Some elephant probably pushed this tree ...
... more roots are out than in the ground ...
... and this tree still grows in harsh and dry climate

I am in a deep shade of a huge tree
Full size of the tree under which one I was before
