March 30 - On the beach in Cape Maclear

Here are many photos from the beach. Finally people can see the lake. The size of the like is approximately size of the Adriatic sea. It is quite big and and with all small islands around it reminded me of Croatian cost, however with more trees and steeper elevations of the shoreline and islands.
Lake Malawi is 455 m above see level, the maximum depth is astounding 750 m and there are more than 500 species of fish in the lake. According to the literature lake Malawi has the biggest variety of fresh water fish in the world. All lakes in Europe and North America together have no such a big number of fish variety.
